@fakename7543 Probably because I have enough brainpower to use my cheaper, custom-built, faster, cooler, personalized PC to do whatever I want it to do that a Mac can do… And Mac’s can’t do much.

The Mac OSX is a good platform for opengl and ES development I think a lot windows developers use C#, hate learning or using objective C. Apple is lacking a managed language, but apple change direction so quickly they break things , Apple have a hugh API with tons of macros that confuses most with the C API & obj C stuff, but you can mix C++ for portable code and use objective C for the interfaces as is required. A developer uses both windows & Mac OSX to become a more rounded developer.
The Mac os is a better dev platform since you have a great interface, great media playback and editing . Can run Fusion to provide virtual machines running windows,linux etc and cross development with visual studio 2008/2010. The point being windows can’t run Mac osx as a virtual machine. Mac osx has support for unix development, Iphone,ipad,desktop and is great for multi-trier programming that’s why people build a mac hack with 6 slot motherboard,with 24gb of DDR3 costs 400 quid.

@MrSoigroeg Mac is not “gay” its a really good OS and if you dont use it cus your stuck to windows?? your lose not ours… i use both windows and mac. but i like mac better while programming. for just one reason!
its that mac was made for programming at the beginning.
